My name is Tone Ingvaldsen. I'm a Norwegian dancer based in the north of Norway.
The Folk Dance
I've been dancing from the age of 7 - exploring the wonderful traditional dances from Northern Norway and other areas of Norway. Folk dance has been an important part of my whole life, and I always want to develop myself as a social dancer and a performer.
Performing
I've been part of several exciting projects both national and international. Alongside my own projects, I am also a part of the Norwegian dance company Kartellet.
Teaching
I love to dance, and I love to teach! For me it is important to be a role model, and to teach and engage others.. I've been teaching folk dance for 15 years to anyone who wants to learn.
